The Bean Feasa, "wise woman" it was believed, gained her power after being taken by the Other Crowd or after spending time with Themselves. Thusly, The Hidden ones taught her the otherworldly and occult knowledge and continued to provide her with knowledge, information and help. The Bean Feasa used used both magickal skill, specific herbs and objects (both from the mortal world and the world of the Other) for magickal, rather than medicinal purposes and was skilled in divination, finiding lost objects, and discovering causes of unexplained diseases and magickal afflictions. Sometimes she would have the second sight and familiars that would act as both advisors and messenger as intermediators between the Realms.
Bean Feasa was intriguing and serious title that evoked both fear and hope to those who needed her, but as everything else concerning Other Realms, it came with a price and Geis was often a part of it.
