Invoking the Mist. Féth fíada...
In Celtic folklore and Irish mythology, Féth fíada is a magical mist or veil that was used by the Tuatha Dé Danann to enshroud themselves, making them invisible to human eyesight.
It was also used by Manannán mac Lir to conceal the mounds of the Aos sí from mortal eyes.
Invoking the Féth fíada is an important part of ritual work used in Journeywork, to pass into the Otherworld and travel between the veils.
