water dwellings sketch

water dwellings :) I always enjoy painting water, especially with oils, but for sketches I always use acrylic, so I have different brush strokes for these 2 different techniques - and I enjoy both :)

And I love to paint water beings, water ladies and all kinds of water spirits.
Celtic folklore is full of tales about these beings, I could fill sketchbooks and sketchbooks and they would not be enough to place them all from words to paint.

I also really love to just look at water and I also enjoy collecting inspiring underwater photos from websites like pinterest, so I can really analyze the appearance of flow and glimmer. for a painter, observing is learning :)
